Developed in 2017, Miss Changy was a collaboration with artist Ruby White, focusing on sharing a classic Malaysian breakfast with the city during a period when different Asian cuisines were more focused on dinner options. We approached this in three phases, with different levels of engagement: In addition to online recipe videos and recipe cards that people could take away, we created a custom-built cart that popped up across four different train stations across Tāmaki Makaurau, offering free tasters of kaya toast and kopi-c, and in the CBD, we held two sold-out pop-up breakfasts, which featured a soft-boiled egg, kaya croissant and kopi-c.
