The Mood Machine

Projects

The Mood Machine

The Mood Machine is a holographic contraption that listens to how you’re feeling and prescribes you with a piece of art and some writing to match.

First premiering in 2018 as part of Satellites, The Mood Machine was created by Rosabel Tan and curated by Emma Ng and Hera Lindsay Bird. Featuring artists Xun Cao, van mei, Robbie Handcock, Ana Iti, Gregory Kan, Sharon Lam, Eamonn Marra, Elisabeth Pointon, Sam Thomas, Serene Timoteo, Jade Townsend, Stacey Teague, Tayi Tibble, Chris Tse, and Faith Wilson, it acts as a portal to new worlds, to words that will tilt your centre of gravity, to heartbeats that echo long after each encounter.
